Episode #3
Featuring the weathered wisdom of New Volunteer, the soulful-songstress that is Hannah Robinson and the Nu-folk band Saturday Sun. 3 sonically coloured artists you can help but find yourself immersed in...

New Volunteer

New Volunteer has an aged and weathered wisdom cleverly disguised in hooks that won`t let you go. Chris Mears has a way about him, lyrics and a voice that make you feel like a friend is leaning in, telling what`s going to happen next."
- Isaac Slade - The Fray

New Volunteer, a five-piece band of multi-instrumentalists from the South coast, define their sound with coloured and unusual sonic textures.

"There’s an orchestra of instruments to admire, but nothing is crowded or cluttered. Most importantly it all serves as the perfect backing to the melody and Chris Mears’ honey-sweet vocals." -BHone, Music press

Hannah Robinson

Singer/songwriter Hannah Robinson has gained the reputation of “Soulful Songstress".

Personal experiences narrated through raw emotion fuel the honesty of Hannah`s lyrics.

Currently writing for her debut album, set for release later this year, Hannah`s soulful, bluesy style has been likened by many to that of Janis Joplin and Eva Cassidy.

Saturday Sun

A band that takes it`s name from a story which entails the good and bad times of life should always be grateful that it represents good for them. When all we want to do is play music we can to a certain degree but to life of it you have to make it for the likes of other people, this we do not we write the music for ourselves. Our faith is that you will enjoy our folk/post rock inspired songs if not at least you know we enjoy the music. We wouldn`t want the good times to go unnoticed now would we?
